SAKAI offers an optional two-piece padfoot shell kit (padfoot or sheeps foot over smooth drum). Our shells kits are easier to install than other manufacturers compactors: taking on average less than 2 hours to fit or unfit. Heavy duty lifting loops are welded to the ends of each shell half and scraper bars are included. The two shell halves are bolted together at 8 points (4 at each connection, 2 outside and 2 inside).
Pad foot shell kits can be ordered factory-installed (noted as machine models ending with the “F” suffix such as SV544DF) OR ordered later through SAKAI parts. Smooth shell (padfoot or sheepsfoot over smooth drum) kits are also available.
